    Sales & Commercial Executive - Honiton

    Green Orchard Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client, a growing and respected UK food manufacturer, in their search for a talented Sales & Commercial Executive. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an ambitious and quality-led business at a key stage of its growth.

     

    About the Role

    As Sales & Commercial Executive, you will work closely with the Managing Director to drive commercial success and new business development across the bakery and snacking sector. You’ll lead sales activity, manage existing accounts, and help to shape the company’s brand presence across foodservice, wholesale, retail and B2B markets. This hands-on role is perfect for someone entrepreneurial, confident in building relationships, and keen to grow alongside a forward-thinking food producer.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    • Identify and convert new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and marketing
    • Manage a varied sales pipeline across multiple customer channels
    • Develop and present tailored commercial proposals to prospective clients
    • Represent the business at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events
    • Support existing accounts and ensure outstanding service and product sell-through
    • Contribute to marketing initiatives, including social media, website, and content
    • Maintain accurate CRM records and report regularly on sales performance and trends
    • Collaborate internally to support product launches and commercial strategy

     

     

    What Our Client is Looking For

     

    • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the food industry
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • Self-starter with a proactive and professional approach
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
    • Confident using CRM tools and social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
    • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for business
